The Portico Pop-up Gallery & Art Swap has just one rule: make one, take one. First, make a piece of art, either at home or in the Library where materials, tips and inspiration will be available from Bury artist collective Gang of Five. It could be a drawing, print, poem, or playdoh sculpture, and your ideas can come from anywhere. Next, exchange your art with another from the display, taking home a piece of original artwork and leaving yours for someone else to enjoy. If your creativity flows in a calm, quiet environment, please come between 10am and 12pm, when we will ensure the Library is as peaceful as possible. If you prefer a more lively, collaborative, art studio experience, come along between 12pm and 2pm, for music and snacks while you create!
