“If people are out when they ought to be in, then things are likely to happen to them…”

Curfew by Lucy M Boston

The writer Lucy M Boston was born and grew up in Southport and lived for many years near Warrington. She is best known today as the author of a series of magical children’s novels set in an ancient house called Green Knowe. But as a young mother she wrote ghost stories for her son, Peter, and his friends. One of the best of these is “Curfew”, a haunting tale about the dangers of meddling with the past, which will be read by performance storyteller, Robert Lloyd Parry (also from Southport), a master of suspence and thrilling tales.

The Tall Tales are aimed for children 9-12 yo and their families but open to all who dare
